State Audit Institution (SAI) participates next week in the fourth session of the Abu Dhabi recruitment show "TAWDEEF 2010" which kicks off at Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre from 2 – 4 February, as part of its efforts to support Emiratization and provide more jobs for UAE Nationals through offering vacancies transparently, fairly and equality among the various applicants.
The SAI’s stand will cover an area of 36 square meters in front of the exhibition’s main entrance in the region C 03, whereas a group of managers, heads of departments and recruitment officers will be available every day to conduct interviews with visitors, answer their questions and discuss the vacancies in different departments.
His Excellency Dr. Harib Al Amaimi, President of SAI said "SAI is keen to participate in the recruitment shows held throughout the UAE for the awareness of university and faculty students with the SAI’s Departments and the type of jobs and courses offered to them to reflect the SAI's commitment to the Emiratization policy and to extend the UAE Nationals a greater opportunity for joining the staff”.
He added “the SAI recognizes the importance of contributing to the development of national capabilities, whereas it seeks to prepare qualified capabilities through a series of training programs for bachelor and diploma degree graduates, indicating the importance of field training and university study that prepare students to obtain professional qualification in accounting such as Certified Public Accountant from UK (ACCA) or Certified Public Accountant from USA (CPA).
The SAI’s participation in this exhibition is considered the fourth since its establishment, realizing that the SAI is a starting point for training and recruiting nationals in the appropriate vacancies, and the opportunity to work at the SAI enables citizens to contribute to the development of UAE and to achieve the future vision that was determined to it.
UAE Nationals make up more than 40 per cent of the SAI’s qualified workforce. The Association of Chartered Certified Accountants, which has 8,000 members has awarded Platinum Level Approved Employer Status to the SAI in recognition of its employee training and development.
Established in 1976, the State Audit Institution of the UAE works to improve accountability, governance standards and performance in federal government of the UAE within the financial control framework over the public sector.
The SAI aims to be among the top audit institutions in the world, through implementing internationally best practices, and providing internationally recognized training courses for the employees and graduates from UAE Nationals.
